001 [Video]
[The video starts off easily enough. There's a child, who doesn't look to be no more than 8 or so, wearing a cassock and a black cap pulled down low. Puffs of steam rise into the air with every exhale, proving that it's cold out (never mind the few flakes of snow that appear and stick to his clothes). His cheeks are red, and he shivers before really focusing on the thing in his hands.]
I 'unno what's goin' on, but it's cold. It's wet. Someone thinks it's funny as hell to say they're my mom when I dun' even have one. And this furry orange...dog thing keeps talking.
[The view swings around to focus on the Growlithe lying on the ground next to the child. It just looks at him and wags its tail before giving a loud Growlithe! It's like it knows it's being recorded and is just cheesing it for the camera.]
See?! I know I don't know lots about dogs, but I know they're not suppose to talk.
[And there's the child again, frowning and all but glaring at the camera.]
Also, apparently it's my birthday. The thing said it was. I 'unno if it's right, but if it is, this is a horrible way to spend it!
[The child is just about to continue with his tirade before he is knocked over by his Pokemon partner. The video records the fall from the child's hand to the ground, and then suddenly shuts off.]

Would you like to see him?
Yes!
[Nevermind that he has no idea what this person means by "evolved" or whatever. She's (yes, she) showing him her Pokemon!]
[The screen shifts a bit as Chihiro moves to look offscreen, whispering to a Pokemon lounging in the room behind him. The Pokemon is so large and fluffy that- for a second- it looks as if a whole section of the wall is moving before a massive Arcanine flops down behind Chihiro, letting his trainer lean against his side. He reaches up to gently pet his big mane of fur as he looks over at the camera, his ears perking forward.]
This is Hogosha, my Arcanine. He used to be a Growlithe.
Re: [video]
[Just hold the phone here, missy!]
You mean that my...my Growlif will get huge like that?!
[Duo is just completely and utterly dumbfounded. Since when do dogs get to be bigger than him!? Not that...it's really all that hard to be bigger than him, to be honest.]
[Because everyone knows what mobile suits are, right? Also, sorry not sorry, Chihiro, for the curious child who now has his face pretty damn close to the screen right now.]
[SO MANY QUESTIONS CHILD...]
There...are a lot more like this. Some get very big, but some stay small...I can't really tell you for sure how big they can get, since they are all so different.
Re: [video]
What's the biggest one you got? Is it strong or just big? Can it beat stuff up real good?
[Duo, you're still perhaps a little too close to the screen...]
Well...that would be my Garchomp Horu, probably. He is one of my bigger Pokemon. He's very strong, too.
[Honestly though, all of Chihiro's Pokemon are big to him.]
My Chesnaught is very large as well, and I know he is strong, but...he doesn't like to battle very much.
Re: [video]
[He finally pulls away from the screen to glance at his Growlithe. What if his Growlithe doesn't want to fight? That'd be a problem, right?
Duo frowns and huffs before looking at Chihiro.]
Do you make yours fight?
[He shifts a little against Hogosha's side, adjusting his grip on his Gear.]
Some of my Pokemon enjoy battling and like it a lot...and others just prefer not to. I usually let them do what they would like...I didn't used to train very much, but I've been trying to more since I've been here for a while, now. Most Pokemon like it, though...it's seen as a way to bond with them, as a trainer.
Re: [video]
[Duo's a little lost in thought as he waits for an answer. If his Pokémon can beat up bad guys, too, then maybe he can take it and beat up the Alliance!]
What do you mean?
Re: [video]
Nevermind. Not like YOU would understand.
